My Story

Pic 1.jpg

I bring a calm, gentle energy which helps to create a safe, loving and supportive environment for my clients; with heart centred support being the essence of my work. I have a genuine passion for supporting and empowering people on their journey, this work lights me up in a way I didn’t even know was possible before. I love being able to stand alongside my clients in the depths of their grief, fear, and anger, support them to navigate through anxiety and shame, but also enjoy and encourage the laughter, the playfulness, and the joy in life.

Born and raised in Christchurch, I’ve been intrigued by natural health ever since I was little, poring over my Mum’s ‘Health and Healing from the Kitchen’ book, and eagerly taking on the bits and pieces she shared with me from her Massage, Reflexology & Aromatherapy courses she was taking.

I found myself in the corporate world after I left school, and while I enjoyed many aspects of my job and the people I worked with, I felt like something was missing, and I knew that I wanted to make more of a difference in people’s lives. At the time I was also dealing with some significant health issues, and feeling a bit disheartened by the system as nobody could really figure out what was happening for me, when I had the pleasure of seeing a naturopath who took the time to listen and go ok, I’m here to support you through this. I left the consult in tears because finally I’d been fully seen and heard, and felt so supported, and I knew I wanted to help others in this way; so off I went to Auckland to study a degree in Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine. This was such a transformative adventure for me, as I delved into the realms of natural healing, and began to discover my purpose. From there I went on to gain a diploma in nutrition, two massage therapy diplomas and completed the 3 levels of One Spirit Healing Practitioner Training, as I wanted to be able to offer so much more to my clients. These trainings have not only shaped the ways I can show up for my clients, but it’s shaped the way I show up for myself, and that has really transformed my life and how I show up in the world today.

In my spare time, I love practising yoga, attending ecstatic dance, listening to all sorts of music, cooking, spending time in nature, creating rituals and being creative.
